The Shore: Waterfront Restaurant

The day before my birthday, I just wanted to feel special and have a little joy and Lakeshore gave me so much more than that. From the moment we walked in around 3:30 PM, I felt welcomed. They had a wonderful deal on pizzas between 3-5 PM, which was such a sweet surprise. But it wasn’t just the delicious food that touched my heart , it was the kindness of our server. I wish I could remember his name because he was genuinely the best server I’ve ever met here in Canada. His warmth and attentiveness made me feel seen and valued on a day that meant so much to me. After dinner, we took a peaceful walk and took some beautiful photos, soaking in the moment. The whole staff’s genuine kindness made me feel like I wasn’t just another customer. I’ve seen racism in other places, but this restaurant right here stood out. This is how you treat customers with respect and kindness regardless of where they come from. At the end of the day, we are all human, and kindness is something we all crave and deserve. Because of Lakeshore, my birthday celebrations felt unforgettable. My husband and I will carry this memory with us forever, and this will be my favorite place to go. Thank you, Lakeshore, for showing me that kindness truly goes a long way..

It's a thumbs up from me! We had dinner our with friends recently and they chose this spot. I haven't been before since it changed business name, so I'm not sure if it's new owners/management. Casual feel, nice view, good variety of menu options. I chose the chicken and I also captured photos of 2 others at my table as the presentation was lovely. Others at my table had steak, salmon, and short ribs (I didn't get a photo of short ribs). The chicken was moist and tasty, I enjoyed the puree veg and small pieces of roasted squash, all was yummy! Thanks for a great experience, we enjoyed ourselves.

Three of us went for supper this evening. Everything was fantastic. The staff is super friendly, our server was awesome. We ordered the Brussel Sprouts and Calamari appetizers, so good!! I didn't think to take a photo until after we started digging in, the portions were plenty for the 3 of us to share. Our server brought some fresh, warm dinner rolls to our table while we were waiting for the appies to arrive. Delish! For the mains, we ordered the smash burger with fries, the seafood linguine, and the cauliflower steak. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I remembered to take photos of the mains! We finished dinner with a slice of the raspberry cheesecake to share. We were full enough from all the other food but the cake sounded so good we couldn't resist! It did not disappoint. This was our first time going to The Shore and it will definitely be visited again. Thank you and see you soon!

An exquisite experience! We had lunch on the patio overlooking Lake Ontario. Stunning views of the lake and marina. Our server Kerri was cheerful & attentive! The Niagara Gold Salad with salmon was a synergistic flavor combination. Simple yet delicious. Highly recommend enjoying time on the patio!

We had such a wonderful experience at The Shore—from start to finish, everything was seamless and enjoyable. Booking was a breeze with immediate availability, which was a welcome relief after dealing with other places. When we arrived, we were greeted by a kind and professional hostess, and shortly after, our waiter Mike took over and truly made the evening special. Mike went above and beyond—he didn’t just take our order, he engaged in a genuine conversation about our day and the stunning marina right in front of the restaurant. He even pointed us to a nearby pathway leading to the marina and offered to call us when our food was ready so we could enjoy the view and take some photos. That level of care and attentiveness is rare and really made a difference. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with a warm atmosphere and a location that adds a whole extra layer to the experience. The access to the marina is a big plus—we got some amazing photos and took in the peaceful water views before our meal. We had a great time at The Shore and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for both the ambiance and the exceptional service!

Date of Visit : Sat May 17th, 2025 The Shore Restaurant in Jordan is the kind of place where the setting is just as memorable as the meal. Tucked along a serene waterfront, it offers up stunning views that instantly set a relaxed, upscale tone—the perfect backdrop for an evening out. We tried the Prime Rib Dinner, which was cooked beautifully and melt-in-your-mouth tender, paired with all the classic fixings that made it pure comfort with a touch of elegance. The Salmon with Beet Risotto stole the spotlight though—vibrant, flavorful, and plated like a work of art. The creamy risotto and perfectly seared salmon were a match made in culinary heaven. With warm, attentive service and a cozy-chic atmosphere, The Shore delivers the kind of dining experience that lingers long after the last bite. Whether you're celebrating or just treating yourself, it’s definitely a place worth slowing down for. There is plenty of Onsite parking. They have a patio - but as it is waterfront - bugs are occasionally an issue - making the patio unusable some days. The views of the waterfront are lovely and many tables are along the wwindow. Prices can range $25 - $35 per meal is average. Service was exceptional - we were warmly greeted, attended to by our server (and other servers), and checkd in on sever times by servers and mananer. It was a lovely experience.

Our server, Cassidy, was friendly, attentive, and helpful with the menu. Our food was served fresh and hot. The Thursday date night menu was a surprise bonus for the 4 of us. With inclement weather, we had to forego our patio reservation but we're offered excellent window seating inside with a nice lake view. The entire experience was better than our expectations. Great value.
